Datum Alloys Ltd has been providing pre-mounted frames with mesh and steel into the market for over 2 years now.  The project started gradually but now we have supplied over 10,000 frames into the market.

Datum Alloys is pleased to announce that to date, we have produced a total of only 18 defective frames with mesh and steel out of a total of 14,865.  For our frame with mesh only product, we have produced only 2 defects out of a total 15,044 frames produced

Many customers are ordering these products so that production time is not spent on mesh mounting and mounting steel into frames internally.  This allows our customers to receive Datum Alloys steel pre-mounted onto a frame.

Peter Anniss, Sales Director

Pete obtained an MSc by research, specialising in photo-etch quality stainless steel, from Cranfield University. His expertise also enables Datum to provide a unique product development resource for customers seeking new solutions in the application of stainless steel in the machining environment.

Abi Bradley, Sales Co-ordinator

Abi joined Datum Alloys in 2005 awith a BA Honours degree in European Studies with German and Russian. She has spent time living in Germany, Austria and Russia, and is now based in Wiltshire.  She speaks fluent German, as well as some French, a little Italian and a smattering of Russian.

She deals mainly with any Stencil and Etch enquiries,  but if you are unsure who to speak to, give her a call and she would be happy to point you in the right direction!

*Six Sigma was originally developed by Motorola in 1986 and is a method of measuring quality which aims for near perfection.  A sigma value of 6 equates to only 3.4 defects in one million.
